Seaview Crab Company Core Values
Moving Seafood Forward
In order to move forward we must look at where we are and who and what has preceded us. We look to veterans of our industry for time-tested knowledge. We also involve new technology and ideas to improve and solve previous roadblocks. In every area of our business we are forever on a journey towards the “best way”.
Our seafood forms the core of our business. We strive for diversity and uniqueness in the mix of products we sell. We get products as close to the source as possible and make sure all product handlers have a sense of integrity.
Everything we do, is done with the idea that we are part of a larger system of seafood production and sales. We are not individuals that specialize but rather are contributors that work towards a greater goal of "Moving Seafood Forward."
Our Team members are not “employees”. Our organization counts on its members to not only perform their responsibilities but also to help define their positions and improve them. We work as a single unit and are constantly on the lookout for ways to assist our teammates.
We treat our suppliers not as opponents that we hope to beat but as team members that we collaborate with to find the best way. We evaluate our relationship by putting ourselves in their shoes.
Our customers are the final link in the chain to success. We are students of their preferences and work constantly with them to better understand their needs. We are also their teachers in that we educate them about our products with the goal of bettering the entire system.
Environment and Resources
We believe that to move forward in regards to this topic is to shift focus away from polarizing issues of “who is right or wrong” but instead focus on understanding, supporting, and improving critical resources for future generations. We support environmental solutions that are win-win for all stakeholders and increase the proliferation of our resources.
